• Concurrent production. McKenzie’s central finding is that a shop worked on several books at once; this models one book at a time. The report says so wherever it draws a conclusion that concurrency would undermine.

• Per-compositor cases. Hinman distinguishes cases x, y and z; here all the men draw from one pair.

• Forme order from type recurrence. The pieces are tracked and the recurrences recorded, but nothing yet reconstructs the order of printing from them.
