Dover is a cleaned-up generalization of a utility I wrote in 2025 for the Congame project. I needed a quick way to check and score my progress on the documentation, and the module layout was complicated. Dover itself is a level 6 AI-assisted rework of that handwritten code.

The code for the TUI progress bars was copied and adapted from Alexis King’s CommonMark parser test suite.
