1.3 Data🔗ℹ

Every fit reads a design matrix and a response, and the formula front end reads a table. This chapter is about where they come from: the example datasets that ship with the package, tables, Racket’s own lists and vectors, CSV files, math/matrix matrices and Polars dataframes. Each data format is a module under "glmnet/data/", which (require glmnet) does not load.

The example Data sources fits one dataset from each of them.
